About Jonathan Matsuda
Hello! My name is Jonathan Matsuda and I am a full stack developer who strives for two basic principles: hard work and the willingness to always learn.Upon graduating from Biola University, I told myself I never want to do sales or be in tech. However, as you can see, that is exactly what I did! I started off in customer success where I helped many Fortune 500 companies get up and running with our software. I then moved into a solutions engineer role, helping many companies envision what it would be like to use the platform that we sold. It was here where my interest in software development became apparent. I was able to see first hand how technology and software can improve not only individual\'s day job but their entire life and career.After some self teaching and discovery, I took the initiative to leave sales and attend an intensive, full immersion coding bootcamp called LearningFuze. It is here where I have really been able to live out and hone in on my first two principles mentioned in the beginning. With hard work, I have been dedicating upwards of 10-12 hours a day learning new technologies and skillsets that I never thought I would be able to learn. At the same time, the more I study the more I realize that this industry truly requires me to be a continuous learner. LearningFuze is not only teaching me specific technologies like JavaScript, React, Node, HTML, CSS etc, but also the ability to efficiently and effectively learn.
