ABOUT JONATHAN MARTIN
I am an adaptable and ambitious Engineering Leader with a wealth of BIW and Composite Design Experience. I have strong interpersonal, leadership and analytical skills, and enjoy the challenges and rewards of working in cutting edge engineering environments. I have worked in various composites design environments, including Defence, and conventional BIW automotive structures programmes, using mainly CATIA V5 with various PLM and file-based systems. I have both prepared and supervised work on a vast array of laminate books, technical drawings, and associated release documentation in many formats, including some complex work on F1 Chassis and Bodywork, and associated moulds, and tooling. Having completed a CATIA CPD (Composite Product Design) residential course I am keen to gain further experience using this technology and transferring my composites knowledge. I have enjoyed freedom and responsibility liaising with suppliers and customers and regularly support and chair meetings and reviews in my current role. I would value the opportunity to continue the development of my technical, professional, and leadership skills, and further enhance my engineering knowledge.
