My team – the Next Generation Sessions product area – invents new personalized music and talk session formats that are evolutions of the playlist, such as Spotify\'s AI DJ, AI Playlists, discovery feeds, and social experiences like Blend and Jam. We bring the value of new technologies to users, so our current work is dominated by generative AI and agents. We\'re a cross functional group of about 100 music, podcast, recommendations, text-to-speech, GenAI, language, and consumer products experts.From November 2024 to March 2025 I was also interim Product Director for NextGen.
