Provides tactical and strategic plans to the leadership team and employees to improve EHS performance. • Manage KIK EHS programs to include new-hire orientations, job-specific, and required refresher training.• Subject matter expert in EHS issues specific to the site safety programs and environmental requirements.• Builds and maintains company safety culture through safety committees, required training, and employee engagement.• Manages the site incident and injury reporting, investigation, and recordkeeping to ensure compliance for Worker Compensation claims and OSHA reporting OSHA 300 logs, 300A, 301.• Conducts incident investigations of all injuries and near misses to prevent future reoccurrence.• Responsible for overseeing corrective and preventative actions to ensure employee safety when hazards may be present in the workplace through conducting risk assessments, safety audits, inspections and analyzing data.• Ensures the timely completion of all required safety, environmental, and sustainability reporting to internal and external parties such as TIER II’s, TRI’s, Form R’s.• Manages the site security programs, emergency response programs, and management of chemicals both hazardous and non-hazardous and its transportation.• Responsible for creating and maintaining an injury and illness free workplace through the implementation of safety initiatives, programs, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
