I am dedicated to revolutionizing the veterinary experience by developing and integrating advanced technologies such as AI and Large language models like GPT, while preserving the personal touch that defines veterinary medicine. My focus lies in enhancing both patient care and the practice of veterinary medicine. My approach involves a holistic consideration of technology - from development of novel and targeted AI systems and data analysis to its practical impact on clinical practice and ongoing pet care outside the clinic.As the former President of the Association for Veterinary Informatics, I have had the honor to lead initiatives at the intersection of technology, data science, and veterinary care, bringing together professionals from diverse sectors to foster innovation in our field. My previous roles include Director of Veterinary Informatics at Compassion-First Pet Hospitals and a Medical Director at a hybrid GP/Specialty hospital, where I always was focused on improving care both for my patients and for all the patients treated at my hospital.The future of veterinary medicine and technologies such as AI and machine learning is very exciting, and I look forward to collaborating to improve and enhance the future of veterinary medicine.
