ABOUT JONATHAN LUMINATI

Dr. Luminati is an Executive Acquisition Specialist for SAVI LLC, providing strategy development and technical/programmatic/business expertiese to various customers in the U.S. Air and Space Force. Prior to joining SAVI, he was the Senior Vice President and Deputy of the Labs Sector at BlueHalo, a rapidly growing member of the defense industrial base, support space, directed energy, AI/ML, and other technology areas. In this role, his responsibilities included developing technical/programmatic strategy, transitioning to a functional structure for PrgmMgmt/Eng/Mfg capabilities, and managing sector-wide budget planning and execution.He is also a retired USAF Colonel. Col Luminati\'s culminating military assignment was as the Senior Materiel Leader and Chief of the Integrated Experiments and Evaluation Division of the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Space Vehicles Directorate where he led a team of 150 personnel leveraging $1B+ in funding to ideate, assess, build, operate, and transition numerous on-orbit research and development spacecraft in support of U.S. Space Force needs.His military experience included a variety of assignments in engineering and program management focusing on satellite, sensor, and missile defense acquisition programs. He also held staff assignments at EUCOM headquarters, the Joint Staff and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He is a graduate of both PMT 401 and the Senior Acquisition Course and holds level 3 DoD certifications in Space, Program Management, and Systems Engineering.He holds a PhD from the Air Force Institute of Technology (synthetic aperture radar) as well as master\'s degrees from the Eisenhower School (formerly ICAF) at National Defense University, the Naval Postgraduate School, and Cornell University.
