As an Electrical Project Manager, I oversee a portfolio of multi-million-dollar projects, guiding every phase from preconstruction to close-out with a balance of technical precision, financial discipline, and hands-on leadership. I manage schedules, budgets, and manpower while ensuring safety standards and compliance with NEC codes, city regulations, and utility requirements.I work closely with general contractors, engineers, and trade partners to align MEP layouts, resolve field conditions, and keep complex builds on track. My responsibilities span from securing permits and inspections to driving RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings through to approval. I also lead procurement for switchgear, lighting, and specialty equipment—negotiating bulk orders, tracking deliveries, and mitigating the challenges of long lead times with cost-effective solutions.Beyond procurement and budgeting, I manage buyouts and change orders to ensure accountability and full compensation before project alterations move forward. My work includes planning and executing layouts for high-rise buildings, cultural institutions, retail environments, cold storage facilities, and theaters. I oversee conduit pathways for fire alarm, low-voltage, BMS, VMS, refrigeration, and other specialty systems, while leveraging BIM models and AutoCAD markups to maintain accuracy and resolve trade clashes.My approach combines technical expertise with leadership: I guide field teams, keep open communication with clients, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. Whether it’s riser conduit supports, lighting installations, or utility service coordination, I focus on efficiency, compliance, and quality to consistently exceed expectations.
