Strategic Property Team\\\\n• Responsible for the Asset Management Plan and the Acquisitions & Disposals Policy;\\\\n• Responsible for management of the Council’s commercial portfolio;\\\\n• Responsible for property transactions across the authority;\\\\n• Managing the Council’s commercial real estate and community property portfolios, to maximise rental return and support economic growth\\\\n• Handling lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, voids, landlord and tenant work, arrears, administer the collection of rents, payment of head rents, and service charges.\\\\n\\\\nOrganisational Resilience\\\\n• Oversees the emergency planning and resilience across the Council\\\\n• Works through Haringey Resilience Forum, and wider London Resilience Partnership\\\\n• Head of Service has a pan-London role as advisor to the lead CE for EP matters\\\\n• Major focus is of course Covid-19, but also resilience to deal with the day-to-day emergencies that are a regular occurrence (most frequently, fires in social housing/HMOs)\\\\n• Provides the corporate lead on H&S across the Council\\\\n• the service develops policy, delivers training, provides an advisory service, and conducts audits.\\\\n• Provides the client function across the council’s operational buildings\\\\n• Delivers a significant volume of small projects across schools, operational buildings and commercial property\\\\n\\\\nMajor Projects\\\\n• major construction related projects across the Council\\\\n• Major projects delivery – all services, project management resource\\\\n• Children’s capital programme management. Currently focused on a schools business case for approval (draft documentation can be shared - £250m investment ask for condition and compliance works, also major works schemes looking at opportunities across the estate)\\\\n• Construction technical advice and quality assurance for both programme and major project delivery, along with procurement resource for both programme and major project delivery\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
