ABOUT JONATHAN KEIGAN

Data Scientist specializing in NLP with cutting edge expertise in language technology.Language is my passion. As a former ESL educator, I bring a unique perspective to data science and natural language processing (NLP), combining communication skills with computational methods. I am currently pursuing a Master of Data Science in Computational Linguistics at the University of British Columbia, and am eager to explore potential of language technologies across sectors like education and healthcare.I have strong technical expertise in data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, dplyr), data visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn, ggplot2), and machine learning (PyTorch, scikit-learn, NLTK) in Python and R. My experience includes designing end-to-end machine learning systems, implementing NLP pipelines (LangChain, RAG), working with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and using statistical methods to analyze and interpret complex datasets. I am confident in my ability to leverage these skills to solve problems, extract insights, and deliver value in data-driven environments.
