Interning- Using the electronic medical record (EMR) system Patient Chart Manager, I thoroughly read various patients\' charts to ensure their providers are documenting properly- Using the Microsoft Office suite, I create spreadsheets and progress report letters showcasing strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions to advance documentation within the clinic- I work closely with the CEO to enhance productivity and quality of care.Volunteering- I assist the Gastroenterology medical assistant with checking patients in, measuring their vital signs, and learning about their reason for visiting- I aid Dr. Savage, Gastroenterologist, with converting his documentation from a handwritten format to the EMR- I assist the laboratory with performing venipuncture and uploading results into the patient\'s chart.
