WHY DOES I.T. APPEAL TO ME? As a deliverer of solutions, a change agent, a visionary, and a forward thinker who critically evaluates and responds to diverse I.T. challenges, I: 1 - Enable employees to perform their jobs more easily and efficiently 2 - Align my skillset and knowledge with new and emerging technologies so that I can help organizations realize the benefits associated with digital innovation and transformation. ONE OF MY SUCCESS STORIES: Earlier in my career as a Managing Consultant at Halliburton (one of the world\'s largest providers of products and services for the energy industry), i was recruited as the technical focal point for a strategically-important project to be delivered for Shell. Specifically, I was asked to lead the global upgrade of a key subsurface software suite in 30+ regions. This particular software was key to Shell\'s geologists and geophysicists, who relied on it to manage their subsurface data and workflows to enable them to locate and develop oil prospects - an action that drove profitable activity for Shell. By creating a range of global standards to manage the applications, data, and workflows for the subsurface user community, I played an essential role in: Optimizing vital exploration tasks Simplifying and standardizing global operations.
