ABOUT JONATHAN HOOK

Australian born, I moved back to my ancestral roots* in Norfolk in 2005, bringing my degree in economics, tax expertise and a love for sports and BBQs with me. In 2010, I founded Norwich Accountancy, where we’re passionate about helping both individuals and businesses across Norfolk with our accountancy and tax advisory services. I myself am both a CPA-qualified accountant and a financial advisor, providing business clients with financial engineering to help structure company accounts and tax affairs. To say I love Norwich may seem obvious to anyone who knows this neck of the woods – what’s not to love? But I have a strong interest in the local community and pour my passion for the local area into charities and business projects I admire.I was on the development committee for Priscilla Bacon Hospice and I\'m currently a school treasurer. I’m also Regional Chairman of Lord’s Taverners (a youth cricket and disability sports charity) and support Big C and the Seed Cooperative, which benefits charities including Field of Joy, Norwich Samaritans and Home-Start Norfolk.Businesses I’m involved in include MacInnes Whisky, Melville and Sons, 11th and Social, Brightside Electrical Norfolk Ltd and The Courtyard Café Elm Hill.Last but in no way least, I love spending time with my family, playing cricket, rugby and tennis, and watching Norwich City Football Club play.*If you’re interested in family history like me, you may be interested to know that I’m a descendent of Hannah Hook who lived in Holt in 1803.
