20+ years of analytical chemistry experience. Currently work in Translational Medicine and lead innovation projects aimed at enhancing data quality, increasing efficiency and driving scientific insights through the development of global IT solutions, automated sample preparation, and mass spectral analysis.Previous experience includes working in the GLP environment running a group of scientists that performs biophysical and physio-chemical characterization of critical biologic reagents for immunoassay method development. Overseeing the development of SEC methods for reagent purity, HRMS method development for identity, sequence verification and label incorporation of critical reagents.Investigating potential in-vivo modifications of large molecule drugs. Employing immunoprecipitaion and enzyme digestion techniques as well as middle down approaches to monitor in-vivo processing in both human and pre-clinical species.Have worked in a GLP environment overseeing the development and validation of PK and Imunnogenicity assays for pre-clincal and clinical studies. Manage the Bioanalytical needs of FIH and PhI drug candidates. Also worked in a GMP environment developing analytical methods for in-process control testing for small molecule synthesis. Developed methods on various platforms (HPLC, GC, HPLC-MS, GC-MS, NIR, FT-IR and Raman), as well as wet chemistry techniques (pH, Karl-Fischer, LOD). Lead the establishment of a new in-process control lab. Organized 6 technicians daily work and established laboratory procedures and streamlined method transfer documentation.Completed a doctoral thesis in analytical chemistry focused on aspects of quantitative MALDI-TOFMS. Investigated samples preparation techniques the effects of laser wavelength on desorption and ionization in the MALDI experiment. Used other analytical techniques (SEM, AFM, Fluorescence UV-Vis spectroscopy, and QCM) to investigate matrix and laser light interactions.
