ABOUT JONATHAN HAMILTON-DIABO
I have worked in post-secondary education, specially focusing on Indigenous education for over 25. Teaching at at Victoria University (U of T), I focus on the TRC and Indigenous Relationships. As well, I work towards enhancing Indigenous participation within the post-secondary education sector. Past roles allowed me to build relationships with other post-secondary institutions, government ministries and community.I conducted a number of external reviews in different capacities, either as a reviewer or consultant, both within and external to universities. Areas of focus- Development of Indigenous student services, initiatives and programming- Program development- Outreach programs (developed a magazine and radio show) for Indigenous youth and community- Relationship-building and networking- Church relations, Truth and Reconciliation and residential schools
