I am an EHS professional & PhD organic chemist with nearly 30 years\' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.I am a key member of the Global EHS & S team at a global contract pharmaceutical manufacturer people, 50 sites globally), covering (a) material categorisation and toxicology (high potent APIs, exposure controls, containment, material onboarding, industrial hygiene & toxicological assessments,(b) leading the EHS data management project (Intelex platform: selection, implementation, training, configuration, enhancement, reporting & project management), and (c) Global EHS Management System (programs, audits, developing and giving training & education packages, mentoring & developing site leaders, advisory & guidance function, performance tracking, metric generation, business presentation and managing ISO programs).I have worked in contract research, development and manufacturing, for analytical and development laboratories, API development and manufacture to pilot plant scale, formulation and biological development and commercial operation.I hold NEBOSH Diplomas in H&S and Environmental management: I am a charted member of IOSH with a wealth of related experience. My responsibilities have included managing occupational health, potent compound safety, waste, security, insurance, claims, energy, toxicology, business continuity, auditing, environmental permitting, GMO, X-ray and radioisotope safety, trade compliance and other elements of risk management, as a member of site leadership teams. I have led teams to significant turnaround improvements in site performance, accident rate reductions, capital investment projects, simplification projects, contract tenders, increased employee engagement, developed management systems, improvement and education packages, integration of site acquisitions, established ISO certifications and won EHS awards.
