Jonathan GuineyEngineering Services – Operations Director, Reliability & Asset Management, AmericasCurrent ResponsibilitiesAs the Operations Director for Reliability & Asset Management in the Americas, Jonathan’s primary responsibilities include education and training on JLL’s approach to Life Cycle Asset Management. Jonathan works closely with account leadership to understand reliability engineering, asset management and operational compliance principles and demonstrate value for their clients. Jonathan’s team liaises between the Engineering Product organization and client teams to provide the tools and process to help our clients realize their asset management objectives. His team directly supports transitioning and advancing accounts through their journey within Reliability and Asset Management. Previous ExperiencePrior to JLL Jonathan worked for an engineering consulting firm whose primary contract was with the U.S. Navy and Military Sealift Command. Jonathan supported and led teams of consultants who performed condition assessments, full power demonstrations and performance testing of Navy assets. He also supported a CMMS program developing maintenance tasks and schedules. Jonathan joined JLL in 2008 as a member of the Pfizer account team where he acted as a Reliability Maintenance Engineer in the clients Reliability Based Maintenance Program. In 2011 he transferred to the Merck account in Boston where he acted as a Senior Facilities Manager responsible all site activities and later to Novartis as an owner’s rep for construction of their global head of research and development. In 2015 Jonathan moved to the platform as the RCM Program Manager and Americas SME where he was responsible for education and training on the RCM platform. Jonathan worked closely with account teams to understand RCM principles and develop a customized deployment strategy for their account. Training includes employing standard maintenance engineering methodology, use of the NGM tools to prepare the platform for use, through workflow optimization and continuous improvement. Education and AffiliationsJonathan attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy where he received a Bachelor of Science in marine engineering and a US Coast Guard third assistant engineer’s license. He’s also earned a Master of Science in facilities management and is an active member of the Reliability Leadership Institute and the Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals.
