   Following a successful secondment in the U.S. as Operations Support—where my skills, experience, dedication, and leadership were recognised by the management team—I was thrilled to be asked to remain on the project, where I now serve as Offshore Site Coordinator.In this role with Ørsted, I oversee the daily planning and execution of offshore wind farm construction activities across U.S. projects. My work involves coordinating complex logistics and multiple concurrent work scopes, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-organised operations across vessels, contractors, and project teams.I manage daily communication with the vessel coordinators reporting to me, providing direction, alignment, and operational clarity for offshore activities. I also work closely with onshore logistics personnel, offering guidance and support to ensure seamless coordination between port operations and offshore execution.My responsibilities include planning and sequencing daily work scopes, managing vessel and personnel movements, tracking equipment and material deliveries, and ensuring all stakeholders remain synchronised as project conditions evolve. I facilitate clear communication across Ørsted teams, marine operations, and specialist contractors to minimise delays and maintain operational efficiency.I monitor progress across installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance activities while upholding strict safety, regulatory, and quality standards. I also produce accurate daily reporting, proactively escalate risks, and lead operational briefings and Daily Planning Meetings to maintain alignment across all teams.In this role, I leverage strong logistical coordination, stakeholder management, and a solutions-focused mindset to guide complex offshore operations in dynamic environments. Through this work, I contribute to Ørsted’s mission of delivering safe, reliable, and world-class offshore wind projects to create a more sustainable energy future.
