Jonathan is head of learning and development at IN8 responsible for online content, training, workshops, and keynote speaking engagements. Jonathan was formerly a solicitor and partner in a Thames Valley law firm, specialising in commercial property and residential development work. In 2014 he was convicted at Southwark Crown Court for his involvement in a multi-million-pound property and bank fraud. He was released from prison in June 2020, having served half of a twelve-year prison term. Whilst serving his prison sentence he returned to education himself to support his rehabilitative goals whilst also tutoring fellow prisoners undertaking Open University degree courses. Jonathan holds an LLB(Hons) from the University of the West of England, a MSc in Counter Fraud and Corruption from the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies at Portsmouth University and he is currently a PhD candidate at Cardiff University where under the supervision of Professor Mike Levi he is researching the organisation of bank and mortgage fraud and its relationship to the governance, control and regulation of financial services in the UK. He also tutors on the Criminology and Law degree courses.
