Law Enforcement Veteran | Police Captain | Security & Operations LeaderAs a dedicated law enforcement professional with over 27 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of leading and serving within the San Diego Harbor Police Department, where I currently serve as a Police Captain. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a strong blend of operational expertise and administrative acumen while managing a mid-sized department focused on maintaining safety and security in one of the busiest ports in the world.My career path has been diverse, with specialized experience in high-stakes units including SWAT, the Dive Team, and the K-9 Unit, where I’ve honed skills in crisis management, tactical operations, and public safety. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to both proactive policing and community engagement, ensuring that every operation is executed with precision, integrity, and accountability.In addition to my hands-on experience, I hold a Master\'s degree in Security Studies from the prestigious Naval Postgraduate School, where I deepened my understanding of national and international security concerns, as well as advanced leadership strategies. This advanced education has further refined my ability to navigate complex organizational challenges while adapting to ever-evolving threats and opportunities in law enforcement.As I continue to lead, my focus is on fostering innovation, promoting officer development, and strengthening the community’s trust in our department.
