Rebuilding organizations and turning them around to thrive in their respective industries is where I excel as a Chief Operating Officer with more than 25 years of experience spanning political campaigns to market research companies. A data-driven and results-oriented leader, I strive to influence meaningful change by dedicating time to understanding every person and every process of an organization. My guiding principle in building or reinventing companies is to understand exactly what the organization intends to be to its customers and initiate the organizational discipline needed to achieve its mission. I am passionate about all employees feeling vested in change, and believe strategic decision-making should incorporate all levels of an organization. In my current role as COO for The Harris Poll (Harris Insights & Analytics), I was entrusted to rebuild the organization following the slow deterioration of the once well-respected market research brand. By realigning priorities and re-establishing how the organization functions, I was able to successfully help rebuild the marquee brand—returning it to the revered company it once was with unmatched trust in the market research industry. Today, my responsibilities with The Harris Poll include leading all aspects of client fulfilment, from ensuring delivery of the purest results to making research insights discernible and actionable. In addition to my role with The Harris Poll, my career history has included roles in digital strategy, operations management, crisis communications, international relations, and corporate communications. My early career includes time in The Clinton White House as Assistant to the Director of Presidential Speeches. Perhaps the most formative role of my career, this high-profile position taught me communication strategy, messaging discipline, effective speech writing, and practical thinking. This position also marked the start of my expertise in market research, as I learned and eventually taught the craft of political polling.
