Being one of only two IP people working in a person global organisation, the IP specialist role is extremely broad, effectively fulfilling the tasks typically associated with IP roles from \'Patent Counsel\' to \'Head of IP\'. The areas of work include- Proposing, creating & implementing a global IP strategy - Designing and implementing IP processes- Managing a growing global patent portfolio of 60+ families (including hands-on drafting, prosecution, litigation and licensing)- Advising on IP aspects of assignments, licenses, NDAs, contracts and collaborations - Managing a large Trade Secrets portfolio- Commercialising & monetising IP rights- Freedom to operate & patent landscaping work - Trade Marks- IP awareness & training - Effective management of hundreds of key stakeholders… in addition to generally answering any and all IP related questions in a huge global renewable energy organisation!
