I am an astute and results-driven Commercial Contracts Specialist / Contracts Manager - a collaborative, team-player with a proven track record of independently drafting and negotiating complex and model corporate and commercial agreements with US and other global corporates, Universities, Government and non-Government organizations. I have been recognized and awarded by my employers on numerous occasions for contributions to the business, although my most enduring professional experiences derive from working with amazing colleagues across departments and management levels to build win-win counterparty relationships that advance organizational strategy consistent with organizational polices and practices to produce positive real world outcomes. Before moving to the US, I was a senior in-house legal counsel at Australia\'s largest scientific research and technology transfer organization and Australia\'s largest patent holder. The majority of my career has been devoted to drafting, negotiating and implementing complex IP licensing, equity and corporate/commercial transactions, primarily to create and when appropriate exit spin-out & start-up companies, IP licensing and collaborative R&D agreements although I have experience in a range of other areas. Having recently relocated to the US with my partner and family for career development reasons and to explore new horizons in this great nation, I am seeking work opportunities in allied legal roles such as Contracts Manager/Contracts Specialist or given my deal team leadership experience, Business Development & Execution. Ideally, this will be in the life science / biopharma or tech fields given my love of science, however I will be excited to be offered an opportunity to make a valued contribution to enterprises in other fields too given my diverse professional experience. I have US work authorization with no need of employer sponsorship and I am excited to see what my US career path brings.
