About Jonathan Feldman

I remain a true yachtsman, personal enthusiast, and immersed industry professional. In 1997, after college and attending a seamanship school, following my interest in the sea and adventure, I found my way into yachting. To date, I enjoy the people, the vessels, and the specialized opportunities it provides. Diligence coupled with a strong work ethic have taught and brought me far in this industry. I\'m not sure what has been my favorite experience, my first crossing, receiving a Showboats Neptune award on stage with designers I admire; or perhaps it has simply been earning the respect of my fellow professionals, and hearing \"Good Job\" from the boss. It\'s all been a lot of hard work, some sacrifice, but also a wonderful unexpected life better than I could have ever imagined. No other industry compares to yachting, and if you give yachting your best effort, the opportunities and exposure you can witness are so uniquely special and endless. I can\'t ever imagine not being involved with yachting. It is my work and my passion.

   Apr 2011 — Present

   Onboard management of vessel operations, safety, engineering systems, passage planning, piloting, and crew mgmt. Bi-annual yard period (scope development, forecasting, and reporting). The budget and timeline allows this vessel to be maintained to the highest levels with minimal crew and services, at the owners request.
