Currently Managing ASC 606 Implementation Project across 46 Countries and multiple lines of businesses including Hardware, Software, Software Customization Services, Hardware Installation/Roll-Out Services, and Post Contract Warranty/Subscription/Support. • Responsible for guidance, direction, and oversight across all areas of Accounting. • Developed and implemented key controls and processes that resulted in a dramatic improvement in the Company’s Control Posture. Fundamentally transforming a Company with material internal control weaknesses into a Company where the most recent audit had an Unqualified Opinion with no material issues or write-ups. • Primary liaison with the external auditors and was instrumental in the successful transition of firms as the audit interface for both E&Y’s last year audit and PWC’s first year audit. As part of this role assisted the external auditors in terms of walking them through key business processes with the respective process owners, coordinated audit testing with the process owners and provided escalation where necessary, worked with the auditors to develop alternative procedures to get them comfortable with potential issues, resolution and quantification of the maximum exposure associated with any errors identified, as well as analysis and preparation of schedules related to “Out of Period Items” for inclusion in the management representation letters. • Developed and implemented processes to account for Multiple Element Arrangements, Software Customization engagements/VSOE, Losses on Contracts Accounted for under the Percentage of Completion method of accounting, un-invoiced expenditures, Inventory Obsolescence, Application of Manufacturing Overhead, Allowance for Bad Debts, Allowance for Returns and other Future Billing adjustments, Pensions and other employee liabilities.
