Design and develop network infrastructure solutions in support of AWS services, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance- Development of high-level and low-level design documentation- Optimise and scale network designs to exceed customers expectations- Employ established event management processes to participate in and mitigate the impacts off large-scale events- Creation and development of pre-existing and new continuous improvement processes for the global network Infrastructure- Develop simple, repetitive deployment & operational processes that increase both velocity and quality- Drive event deep dives for large-scale events, deliver high-quality documentation for the events and drive corrective actions to completion- Improvement of detection mechanisms by designing and implementing new alerts- Effectively contribute towards hiring and developing others in the team and across the organisation- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical services- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for network systems and processes- Mentor junior engineers and participate in hiring and interviewing processes.Overall, my experience as a Network Development Engineer at AWS has given me the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. I am passionate about using my skills to help build reliable and scalable network infrastructure that powers some of the world\'s most innovative and exciting applications.
