As a Partner at Parsons CPA, PLLC, I primarily focus on servicing rapidly growing privately held businesses whose business operations have out grown their accounting function. What separates our firm, is our frequent face to face meetings and quarterly analysis of financial statements, projected tax liability, and proactive solutions. I strive to work with clients on a quarterly basis and maximize face to face time at the business owner\'s location so I can get a better understanding of how the business is run, meet staff members and offer any assistance I can.In addition to bank ready quarterly financials, annual Federal, and SALT compliance work, I specialize in training internal accounting staff and bookkeepers in how to streamline their accounting process using new technology, applications, and cloud based services. Frequently when this is done in house there are issues with duplicated transactions and missing data, which can be costly to reconstruct.All too often tax professionals find out about material transactions and business deals during tax filing season when it is too late. Substantial value is added to the engagement by meeting quarterly, however informal, to be briefed on business operations, upcoming opportunities, and threats that must be addressed. asset purchases and acquisitions prior to closing the deal. While compliance work is important, I strive to separate myself by being a true business and tax consultant and not just a typical tax preparer.Of course, a substantial part of my time is involved in analyzing tax returns for Corporations, S-Corps, Partnerships, Disregarded entities, and the personal income tax returns of the shareholders of my clients.
