ABOUT JONATHAN CROUCH

Creating and building have always been a passion so I am incredibly lucky to be involved in delivering some of the best Co-Living schemes in the world and playing a leading role in developing the two largest Co-Living buildings to date. Having started my career as a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager problem solving has always been a part of my day to day and the project based nature of development and construction feeds my desire to continue learning. Prior to working at The Collective, I worked for Main Contractors focusing on residential developments which I feel complements my ability to lead schemes from a client focus, understanding the approach taken from the other side of the table. Whilst Quantity Surveying was my primary emphasis, I always felt it was necessary to understand all facets of the industry to be able to effectively undertake my role and deliver on time and on budget; including design, project management, planning and health and safety. Core areas of interest include: procurement, contract negotiation, budget and cost control, appraisals, programme management, product development and innovation, and delivery strategy. Outside of work, I spend as much time as possible with my family, particularly my new daughter, and if time allows (it doesn’t!) I will try to get to the golf course to carry on pretending I can actually play.
