ABOUT JONATHAN CALUBAQUIB
I’m a senior at Western Connecticut State University majoring in Accounting (Financial Accounting) with a minor in Finance. Passionate about accounting and financial analysis, I thrive in collaborative environments where I can apply strategic thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication to solve problems.My experience includes serving as a Tax Preparer for Danbury VITA, coordinating events for WCSU’s Finance Club, and actively participating in the Accounting Society, CTCPA, and Asian Student Union. In Spring 2025, my team and I earned first place in the Ancell School of Business’s inaugural case competition, a highlight that strengthened my skills in analysis, teamwork, and delivering results under pressure.My near-term goal is to pass the CPA exam and earn my CPA license, with aspirations to pursue the CA or EA designation in the future. While I enjoy learning about tax, I’m eager to continue exploring all areas of accounting to become a well-rounded professional.
