I am a licensed professional engineer with 18 years of mechanical engineering design experience including approximately 3 years of on-site field engineering support. I have supported the continued operations of a manufacturing facility\'s fire water storage, pump, and distribution network for 4 years. My design responsibilities have included engineering support from project proposal through commercial operation and warranty support. My field engineering responsibilities included daily coordination with all levels of the construction team, engineering office design staff, and Owner personnel to successfully resolve complex issues with minimal impact to the project. My plant operations responsibilities include maintenance support, planning future upgrades, calculation development, and strict procedural adherence. My industrial experience includes power generation, oil and gas, chemical processing, mining, wastewater treatment, pulp and paper, and nuclear facilities.

   Stantec provides a variety of engineering, design, and management services across every industrial market. My engineering work has consisted of the detailed design of piping systems and leading a piping design team comprised of engineers and CAD designers.My responsibilities include producing engineering documentation consisting of calculations, analysis, reports, specifications, and detailed design drawings. The detailed design drawings generally consist of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P & ID), isometric piping drawings, and pipe support drawings required for fabrication and installation of the piping systems.I am also responsible for leading the piping design team through the final stages of design and into construction support. My duties include answering and/or coordinating all construction questions, final P & ID red lines, supporting joint venture engineering partners that are developing piping isometrics, and addressing all remaining mechanical/piping items.
