Field based role and part of pre-sales group within Metrohm UK that provides creative and robust analytical solutions for our customers. Primary role is technique of Ion Chromatography (IC) with some involvement in Voltammetry (VA) also. Day to day activity includes method development for potential new business, demonstration of instruments in our headquarters and also on customers premises to highlight the unique advantages of the Metrohm solution.Preparation of marketing material to assist in new business development including application and instrument mailers and powerpoint presentations. Write and deliver presentations at customer seminars. Keep abreast of all new relevant legislation and competitor activity that will have a potentialimpact on IC & VA sales through ongoing SWOT analysis.Installation of instruments onsite and training of external customers on supplied application solution. Visits with key account managers to assist in the pursuit of new company business.First line technical support by telephone, email and site visits for IC and VA instruments.
