ABOUT JONATHAN BROWN

I am an engineering/project manager & chef with a uniquely experienced past. My 11 years of education through Simon Fraser University, Vancouver Community College, and the University of British Columbia included business administration, project management, computer science, hospitality management, red seal professional cooking, as well as civil/mechanical/electrical and biomedical engineering. Although I have finished school for now, I still believe it is important to continue to learn and grow in order to be the best person for any job and succeed in my career. My long term goal is to do the best I can in supporting a healthy sustainable community around me. I have experienced great successes working jobs across many sectors throughout my internships, jobs to pay for school and professional career which include: warehousing, construction, regional government, engineering prototype design, municipal project management, hospitality, transportation & logistics, residential design, and industrial engineering. On the job I strive to to learn as much as I can about the working environment, and try to apply my breadth of knowledge based in previous experience to improve relationships and operational efficiency. In the past I have found excellent solutions and improvements to the work place, creating a more productive and environment by using tailored software to encourage better teamwork and positive communication, streamlining processes to be more efficient, and using multiple modes of media to develop close stakeholder relations. I will always challenge myself to do the best job I can, and make a positive difference for the team I am working within. I look forward to networking with like minded professionals to discover amazing new opportunities!
