I’m an aspiring Data Scientist with a strong foundation in Python and SQL, currently pursuing my Master’s in Data Science at Monroe University. My passion lies in extracting insights from data to solve real-world problems—especially through machine learning, data analytics, and predictive modeling.I’ve gained hands-on experience through academic projects and online coursework, developing skills in data cleaning, exploratory analysis, regression, and visualization using tools like pandas, seaborn, matplotlib, and statsmodels. I’m currently building projects that reflect real business challenges and look forward to contributing to teams where I can grow while adding value.Recent project: Life Expectancy & GDP Analysis – Explored how GDP relates to life expectancy using data from the World Bank and WHO.    Participating in an AI/ML externship focused on intelligent document processing and retrieval systems. • Developing AI-powered pipelines for processing large mortgage documents using OCR (Tesseract, PaddleOCR) and PDF parsing (PyMuPDF). • Creating a document retrieval system with LlamaIndex and open-source LLMs (Mistral, Phi-2), improving retrieval precision through chunk tuning and metadata filtering. • Conducting evaluations to benchmark OCR and RAG performance, and preparing a technical report with optimization and deployment recommendations.
