About Jonathan Ben-Ezra

After two decades in accounting and finance, I am excited to take these experiences and skills into the product management field, specifically working on product management at Samaritan Ministries. As Director of Product Management, I am a partner to the rest of the organization. I work with other leaders to plan a path forward that will fit within organizational constraints yet meet key goals. I also work to control health care costs for members of Samaritan Ministries so we can keep their monthly amount as low as possible. Balancing administrative costs with continuing a high-level of positive member experience will be an exciting challenge. Leveraging data and analytics to help ensure the best possible outcomes of decisions will be key. I show my love for people through working with data and pouring myself into my team. Leadership is best shown by serving those who I lead, therefore I gladly take any opportunity available to show my team how much I value them by serving them in small ways. I care deeply about having correct data in order to have an accurate view of the health of the organization. While I am not on the front lines of caring for our members at Samaritan Ministries, ensuring that the ministry stays healthy and a going concern into the future, so that we can continue to aid our members, is vital. Running my tax business on the side has taught me valuable time management skills, especially when I was completing my MBA and working at Samaritan Ministries at the same time. My family is passionate about adoption, foster care, justice issues, and working to free those caught in poverty. We have volunteered our time at local food banks and at our church while supporting local organizations that reach out to the poor in our area as well as supporting international organizations who are working to stamp out poverty in other nations.
