ABOUT JONATHAN ANDERSON
Previously, as the Electronic Warfare Lead at Leonardo Canada - Electronics (LCE), I fused technical leadership with a passion for developing cutting-edge EMSO/CUAS solutions. Our team\'s success in securing future work and delivering on our commitments is a testament to our collaborative approach and my expertise as a technical lead and solutions architect. With a keen eye for innovation, I\'ve created impactful radar and EW training programs, contributed to the success of RF/Radar/Counter-UAS simulators, and mentorship/development of junior engineers/developers - shaping the next wave of technical excellence in the industry.A key achievement of 2024/2025 was the development of a new mission planning and simulation technology for LCE. This technology assists operators in challenging RF environments. My contributions included- Defining customer needs and leading the proposal development process- securing a $1.5 million contract- serving as Product Owner for the software development team, utilizing Scrum Agile methodology, and- successfully delivering the project on time and within budget, while building a positive and productive client relationship. With a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering (Electromagnetics) I have a deep understanding of Communication and RF/Microwave systems allowing me to quickly identify and solve complex issues within this domain. This expertise underpins my presentations at industry events, such as AOC Europe, where I share insights on modelling and simulation paradigms, further establishing my reputation as a subject matter expert in the ever-evolving landscape of electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO), Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS), Counter Unmanned Vehicle\'s (CUxV), and Modelling and Simulation (M&S).Connect with me to learn more about how Modelling and Simulation can unlock your understand of EMSO/CUAS and aid/provide solutions to challenges government, industry, and academia are facing today and tomorrow.
