Charles Jonas serves as Executive Managing Director helping lead Foundry’s Development & Investment business while specifically responsible for Capital Markets. As Head of Capital Markets, Charles connects capital back to an extensive pipeline of industrial development and acquisition, senior housing acquisition, land procurement, retail acquisition, and office. In addition as a member of the executive leadership team for Foundry Commercial, Charles oversees and manages multiple Foundry city markets, leads growth efforts for the firm, and helps develop its leaders, brokers, and Associates. Charles applies a diverse and extensive real estate background to these endeavors which include capital raises, brokerage, market growth, and management. As head of Capital Markets, Charles connects capital with specific Foundry investment or development opportunities that match the long-term investment strategies of our clients and Partners. Foundry has participated in almost $5 billion in transaction volume along with our investment Partners which include large ODCE investment funds to regionally focused Family Offices. As a executive leader for Foundry, Charles has direct oversight for multiple markets, helps drive company’s overall growth in strategic geographical markets, leads acquisitions and recruitment of talent, and works with clients on execution of their investment thesis. Foundry Commercial was founded as division of CNL Commercial Real Estate in 2007 and Charles helped lead a management led buyout of the division and launched Foundry in 2015.
