Our prototype for the future of performance reviews was selected as one of Workday’s most complex AI Agent initiatives, and it’s been surreal to watch it move from idea to execution. What I’m most proud of is how we’re approaching it: product-first, grounded in what managers actually need, and built with a startup mindset that prioritizes speed, clarity, and real customer impact. We’re creating an AI-powered experience that helps managers write comprehensive, consistent reviews using the full picture of an employee’s impact, not just the loudest moments or the most recent ones.If you’ve ever led a team, you know the grind: chasing feedback, pulling context across systems, and trying to stay fair when time is tight. My background as a senior engineer who’s built end-to-end products, paired with 10+ years of management experience, has helped me pressure-test the real workflows and the real failure modes, especially bias and incomplete signal. I’ve also had the opportunity to influence decisions across teams and help align stakeholders around what “good” looks like, so we can ship something that’s both responsible and actually usable. Seeing this graduate from prototype to a real product for customers is the kind of build that reminds me why I love this job.
