About Jonas Lagerblad

For the last two decades, I’ve been driving innovation and pushing the boundaries for business intelligence and analytics. As a Co-founder, manager and developer at Spotfire I had a key role in defining the first generation interactive self service data analysis platform. At Oracle I lead a team with the mandate from the EVP Engineering to deliver a modern cloud based BI solution that is now the core of Oracles BI offering. Since 2014, I’ve been pushing the boundaries to make self service data integration a natural part of a big data analytics SaaS offering as Chief Application Architect at Clearstory Data, based on usage of advanced algorithms and the highly scalable Spark platform.As an architect, leader and developer; my passion is to deliver products that solves high value business problems, with delightful user experience based on scalable and robust technology. As part of doing this, I’ve filed more than 10 patent applications in the last ten years, out of which seven have been granted.
