April 2024 - Present]I current work as an Escrow Officer and these are some of my essential duties:• Examines contracts received to set up files and reviews for relevant information needed to develop the transactions profile. •Meticulously looks over title searches to verify all documents found in the public records are acknowledged and title issues are fixed as needed to ensure clear title.• Communicates clearly with various clients, including real estate agents, mortgage professionals, and our buyers and sellers. • Balances files with customer funds, mortgage funds, and issues disbursement checks or wires after a file has closed. • Uses various applications including but not limited to MS office, G-Suite, Qualia, Simplifile, and secure lender portals. • Participates in ongoing learning and development workshops from underwriting. • Answers incoming and outbound phone calls as needed.
