I am a backend developer for Workday\'s Adaptive Planning product. Adaptive Planning is multi-dimensional and multi-versioned financial modeling and planning software. I specifically work on the Evaluator, which is essentially the \"brain\" of the system. I specifically work on the in-memory computation aspect of building financial sheets and reports at large scale. This is heavily datastructure and algorithm focused due to the complexity of the system and client data complexity. The focus has been on optimizing the Evaluator for larger scale Fortune 500 companies and reducing overall computation time.
