ABOUT JONAH KANTER
Jonah Kanter leads Global Citizen\'s Canadian advocacy, campaigning and policy development, as well as the organization\'s global health advocacy, bringing over 15 years of experience in politics, government and civil society. Previously, Jonah worked at the Canadian Parliament as a political aide to former Senator and UN Force Commander in Rwanda, LGen Roméo Dallaire, and to former MP/Justice Minister Irwin Cotler. He also worked in communications and advocacy at the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and as a policy officer at Global Affairs Canada. Jonah is a long-time human rights advocate and musician that\'s passionate about the power of music to unify and mobilize people. He is also an accomplished writer and tech-savvy content developer skilled in policy analysis, government relations, cause marketing, media/stakeholder relations, social media, and project management. Twice a graduate of the University of Toronto, Jonah has both a master’s degree in global affairs and an honours B.A. in international relations and history.
