ABOUT JONAH SHO L.

Multi-State Expertise: I am licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, several Federal District courts, and the United States Tax Court. I bring a diverse and comprehensive skill set to the table. Specializing in business law, tax, bankruptcy, and estate planning, I am dedicated to providing top-notch legal services to my clients. Education: I hold a JD and an LL.M (in Taxation) from Temple University Beasley School of Law, and an MBA from Temple University Fox School of Business. I have completed Professional Certificates in Business Law, Estate Planning, and Employee Benefits. This unique combination of education allows me to approach challenges with a multifaceted perspective. Professional Journey: At White and Williams LLP, I work as an associate in the business department, where I apply my knowledge and skills to assist clients with various legal issues. My role involves navigating the complexities of business law, tax regulations, bankruptcy proceedings, and estate planning/administration with a focus on delivering practical, effective, and efficient solutions. Community Service: I am deeply committed to pro bono work, both legal and otherwise. I am an experienced non-profit Board Member, having served in various capacities in different organizations, from Board President (and Executive Director) to Board Member-at-Large, and I am always open to discussing such opportunities. I am currently the Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Barbershop Harmony Society. I have worked with several pro bono legal organizations to provide services, including Philadelphia VIP, the SeniorLAW Center, Advancing Civics Education, and the Homeless Advocacy Project, among others. I also have experience assisting small businesses through Fox School of Business\'s Small Business Development Center and serving as a Fox Board Fellow on the board of Philadelphia VIP. I actively seek opportunities to support and engage with non-profit initiatives. Passions: I am a multi-instrumentalist, musician, and performer, with a love for animals, a commitment to sustainability, a joy for cooking, and enthusiasm for philosophy, pure mathematics, and computer science. These interests not only enrich my life but also foster connections with a wide range of individuals and communities. Whether you\'re interested in discussing legal matters, sharing non-profit/pro bono opportunities, or sending me a picture of your dog, I am always open to connecting with new people. Feel free to reach out to see how we can collaborate!
