ABOUT JONAH NICPON

Hi I\'m Jonah, a third-year Georgia Tech student majoring in Mechanical Engineering and pursuing a BS/MS. As an enthusiastic and continuous learner, I am eager to apply my growing knowledge and skillset towards real-world challenges. With a strong foundation in 3D modeling, I am passionate about solving complex problems through innovative systems that drive societal progress. My greatest strengths are analytical thinking, work ethic, adaptability, and collaboration.During my first internship at Jensen Hughes, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the specialized field of Fire Protection Engineering, which provided a unique opportunity to explore a different field. This experience challenged me to quickly adapt and learn new concepts, then apply them to projects. I not only honed my technical writing abilities but also gained valuable insights into the corporate world, learning how to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a professional setting. In addition to my experience, my hobbies are traveling and cooking. I just came back from studying abroad through the Georgia Tech Europe program based in Metz, France. There, I visited over ten countries and twenty cities while engaging in the diverse depth of culture throughout Europe. Finally, I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen which sometimes results in delicious fusion dishes.I am currently pursuing my second internship, where I hope to continue expanding my skillset and contribute to a dynamic team. I am particularly interested in automotive engineering, renewable energy systems, and robotics and am excited to learn from experienced professionals while making a meaningful impact. I am always open to connecting with industry professionals, sharing ideas, and exploring opportunities that will help me grow as a Mechanical Engineer.
