About Jonah Cohen
Dr. Jonah Cohen is a physician-scientist, interventional endoscopist and entrepreneur dedicated to transforming wellness via the integration of leading edge science, technology and innovation. He is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of Bariatric Endoscopy at the Massachusetts General Hospital.Dr. Cohen founded VC-backed digital health company Nutrimedy to improve health and reduce chronic disease by enabling access to convenient, expert and personalized nutritional counseling. Nutrimedy has been recognized by Google and Boston Scientific\'s Connected Patient Challenge, Boston Children\'s Hospital Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator, and MassChallenge, building a state-of-the art, AI-enabled telenutrition platform with one of the largest Registered Dietitian provider networks in the United States with global presence. Nutrimedy provided virtual nutrition services for Fortune 500 companies and was acquired in 2022.Dr. Cohen received his B.A. in Visual Arts and M.D. from Brown University. He subsequently pursued his surgery and medicine training at Harvard. Dr. Cohen\'s areas of clinical and research interest focus on therapeutic endoscopy, novel endoscopic treatments for early GI malignancies as well as obesity. Dr. Cohen also serves as a consultant to companies in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical device, digital health and online second opinion care.
