Objectives: 1. Begin my coaching career in some capacity, specifically collegiately. Currently seeking an opportunity for a coaching position, with some sort of full time position in regards to a university/institution. Specialties: working and implementing the fundamentals of baseball to college and youth, facilitated and operated college tryouts, scout players, demonstrate a hard working/intense love for the game and players, team player first My name is Jon Wes Adams, and I graduated from Asbury University with a degree in Sports Management in May of 2011. I played 4 years of college baseball at Asbury University. Was scouted by the Padres, Rockies, Cardinals, Reds, and Braves. Had aspirations of playing at the next level but came up short. I have a masters in Sport Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. My career goals are to coach or scout baseball players. I would prefer to coach at the collegiate level, but high school and youth urban/rec organizations would be sweet too. I want to inform players about the game and everything that comes with it. In college I played SS, 2b, C, and P. I feel I have more than adequate knowledge to do a fine job, however i\'m constantly learning.I have scouted for team USA in the past, as well as coached and worked at college camps. I want to work with baseball in some way or fashion. My twin brother was drafted by the Braves in the \'11 MLB Draft. I am born again, both spiritually and physically. On June 28, 2014, I collapsed during a run, sudden cardiac arrest aka sudden cardiac death. Through God\'s power and the people he placed for me, I am here. I have an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) in my chest. I am a Christian and I thank God for the opportunities that baseball has blessed me with. Ephesians 6:19-20
