About Jon Seidman

I have a strong foundation in software development and application security, with experience spanning startups and large enterprises. My technical background includes secure coding, threat modeling, penetration testing, vulnerability triage, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. I’ve implemented, managed and sold a range of security tools including cloud-native, containers, IAST, RASP, SAST and DAST, to enhance DevSecOps practices and support scalable, secure software delivery.In addition to my technical work, I’ve held roles in consulting, customer success, sales engineering, and technical support, and consistently serve as a link between development teams, security stakeholders, and business objectives. I\'m especially effective at driving adoption of security practices and tools, managing escalations, and aligning technical solutions with customer needs.Problem-solving and solution design are my strongest skills, and I bring a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to complex challenges, while remaining focused on efficiency and the broader strategic context.

   Red Hat acquired StackRox in February 2021. I continued leading customer success and support for StackRox, now Advanced Cluster Security, as Red Hat incorporated it into the OpenShift product suite. In 2022 I became the Critical Accounts Regional Leader (Americas), with my main area of responsibility global leadership of the Escalation Management Team. Projects include leading a cross-functional team to coordinate delivery and support of OpenShift Virtualization, Slack champion, Salesforce Lightning migration stakeholder, etc.
