I am a philanthropy and civil society professional with 12 years of increasingly complex experience developing and implementing values-drive strategy for family and individual donors and nearly two decades in the nonprofit sector. I possess strong relationship, program development, and implementation skills. I have deep knowledge of environmental and climate policy, civic engagement and democratic systems, the LGBTQ movement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion issues in philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. I work flexibly and creatively, build and deploy teams, and quickly build knowledge. I have a background in organizational development, fundraising, and community organizing.

   I oversee program development, grantmaking strategies, and evaluation mechanisms for individual, family, and corporate donors focused on climate (including donors focused on oil and gas and food systems and regenerative agriculture) and democracy and justice. I also cultivate and manage relationships with individual, family, institutional, and corporate donors and support their philanthropy worldwide through the development and execution of strategy. Additionally, I serve as executive or program director for clients’ grant-making on an expansive range of climate change and environmental issues, including climate policy and finance, land and ocean conservation, and coalition-building in support of environmental justice. Project lead or core staff on multiple consulting engagements, including engagements with individuals and families on the design and implementation of arts and culture grantmaking strategies; and the design, review, and refresh of foundation strategies in the areas of human services, housing, health equity, and civic engagement.
