About Jon Parrish
I currently lead the west region of Johnson Controls\' Intelligent Lighting Infrastructure division. My role involves managing a skilled team of design and operations professionals who specialize in developing and implementing connected lighting solutions for clients in both public and private sectors.Our focus is on delivering practical lighting solutions that boost energy efficiency and reduce operational costs, ultimately eliminating the need for significant capital expenditures. Additionally, we evaluate new smart city and IoT technologies to determine their potential value in enhancing business productivity and sustainability.Since 2010, our division has successfully secured and executed lighting energy retrofit projects totaling over $700M across various markets including K-12, higher education, healthcare, and other public sectors. We have extensive experience navigating regional market requirements and have completed projects throughout North America, including in Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada.
