My wife Betsy and I founded the new Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Co. to revive a legendary Cincinnati area beer brand and re-open a Wiedemann Brewery. We acquired an ideal site of a former funeral home - just up the road from the P&G\'s historic Ivorydale complex - and began brewing in May 2018. Our taproom and beer garden complex opened a month later in the heart of safe and friendly downtown St. Bernard.Our new craft recipes for Wiedemann\'s Fine Beers are true to George Wiedemann\'s original Wiedemann\'s Bohemian Special Brew, which had been one of the top-selling local beers since 1870. They\'re very flavorful and relatively low in alcohol compared to heavier craft brews. Designed to facilitate getting together with family and friends to share and create memories.
