About Jon Nanto
I have a passion for making things better. Even when I was doing odd jobs as a teenager, I liked experimenting to find the best way to accomplish tasks. This passion and interest led me to embrace Lean Six Sigma principles and to coach others in following these improvement techniques. Throughout my career I have gravitated to positions, assignments, and volunteer opportunities that allow me to practice process improvement and leadership development. I enjoy facilitating large group discussions so that the team can develop the best solutions. I love drawing out the best ideas from people especially those who don\'t normally speak up in a group setting. When I have led Design Thinking, Kaizan, or other Process Improvement sessions, I have been able to develop a cooperative team dynamic that brings out the creativity of the group. As a hobby, I participated and became a coach for an internal public speaking forum similar to TED Talks.
