About Jon Moorehead

I am Audit & Assurance Partner with Deloitte based in Memphis. Drawing on over 20 years of experience, I lead cross functional engagement teams in delivering the highest quality audits to his clients. Having spent four years working with Deloitte\'s Belgian member firm, I leverage our global network to effectively serve some of Deloitte\'s largest clients. In the Memphis practice and across the region, I also lead efforts to provide value to our clients by delivering attest and advisory services including IPO, SPAC, controls, ESG, sustainability, and technical accounting matters.With not only a U.S. GAAP but also an IFRS background, I have extensive experience in dealing with a variety of complex areas including business combinations and divestitures, carve-out audits, income taxes, pensions, forestry and biological assets, impairments and restructuring activities. Having served primarily large public clients in the manufacturing and services sectors, as well as clients in hospitality and real estate.Outside of the Memphis office, I enjoy making an impact on our local community and sit on the Board of the National Civil Rights Museum and ArtsMemphis. I also support multiple other charities and community causes which build strong a strong Memphis community.I am a proud graduate of the Patterson School of Accountancy at the University of Mississippi, holding both a bachelors and masters degree. I relax and recharge most when I am enjoying great food, traveling, entertaining, on the golf course, cheering on the kids activities, and spending time with my wife, son and daughter.
